Ιt’s festival time! See you all in Athens Coffee Festival!
Coffee professionals, home baristas and coffee aficionados will reunite the next three days at Athens Coffee Festival 2022!
From 10:00 in the morning the gates of Technopolis opened today, to welcome the visitors, on the first day of the festival. The 130 exhibitors, declare that they are ready to welcome the industry’s professionals, as well as the coffee lovers and to showcase them their unique products. As of today, Saturday 24 September, visitors can try unique coffee varieties from around the world and get to know up to 200 top coffee brands and rare blends.
Seminars & concerts at the “heart” of the festival
Coffee Masterclasses will give the answers to the key issues of the coffee industry at the Athens Coffee Festival. During all three days of the festival, a comprehensive series of seminars will be held, as well as discussion panels around coffee. Entrepreneurs and executives of the Greek coffee industry and certified trainers and baristas will give answers to technical issues.
Attendees will have the opportunity today to gain information about healthy drinks and their contribution to the body, learn about plastic legislation and the difficulties in implementing it, and learn about training and quality assurance in coffee chains. They will also have the opportunity to learn about key issues for the sustainable coffee market, the roasting profile of Italian espresso, but also breakfast and the added value it offers to coffee businesses. Finally, coffee industry experts will talk about the innovations of Greek roasting equipment companies and the diversity of Costa Rican coffee.

The Panhellenic Roasting and Coffee in Good Spirits Championships return, under the auspices of SCA Greece. Distinguished and experienced baristas will compete in two different categories for the first place in the Panhellenic Coffee Championships and the goal of representing Greece in the world championships. The Championships will be held in the specially designed room D10 of Technopolis. More specifically, the 5th Panhellenic Roasting Championship starts today, while the competition will be held on all three days of the festival.
The main stage at the outdoor area of Technopolis will be full of music and energy. Festival visitors will have the opportunity to dance and sing – while drinking their coffee – as the festival stage will host the popular band 48 Hours today from 19:30 until 21:00. The action on the main stage, however, does not stop there. Today and throughout the festival, visitors will have the opportunity to win coffee prizes from the exhibitors, while taking part in coffee knowledge competitions.
