Talented and ambitious baristas competed for three days at the Athens Coffee Festival 2023 for the top spot in the Panhellenic Coffee 2024 Coffee in Good Spirits, Roasting and Latte Art Championships organized by SCA Greece.
From Saturday, distinguished and experienced baristas fought their own battle for the first place at the Panhellenic Coffee 2024 Coffee in Good Spirits, Roasting and Latte Art Championships organized by SCA Greece, as well as the representation of Greece in the World Coffee Championships. The Championships were being held in the specially designed D10 of Technopolis.

Talent and originality dominated the Panhellenic Coffee Championships
The battles of… coffee have begun on Saturday with the Panhellenic Roasting Championship. Nine contestants showed their skills with the aim of distinguishing themselves in the demanding field of coffee roasting, from the initial stages of raw coffee processing to the roasting of the beans. Galazoulas Theodoros (1st place), Nerantzis Alexandros (2nd place), Spyridakis Lefteris (3rd place) were the winners.
Also, on Saturday, the Panhellenic Coffee in Good Spirits Championship started, where six contestants from all over Greece were invited to present an original and technically perfect proposal for coffee with alcohol. In the Coffee in Good Spirits Championship that ended on Sunday, the first place went to Giannis Zoras, the second to Angelos Kotsifakis and the third to Giannis Politis. The winner will represent Greece at the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship.
At the same time, on Sunday, the Panhellenic Latte Art Championship took place where eight contestants were invited to create their own designs with milk on coffee. The first place went to Sokratis Gialamas, who will prepare his bags for the international competition, the second place to Konstantinos Gounidellis and the third place to Harris Yfantis. The prize for the 3rd place was given to the winner by Mr. Stratos Apostolakos, CFO & Executive Board Member FORUM SA – Member of NürnbergMesse Group.
