Talented and ambitious baristas met for three days at the Athens Coffee Festival 2022 and competed aiming to win the first place at the Panhellenic Roasting and Coffee in Good Spirits Championships by SCA Greece and the representation in the respective world championships.

Sunday was full of surprises and excitement as the Panhellenic Coffee in Good Spirits Championship was completed. In a happy atmosphere, the winners were awarded. Christos Klouvatos gained the first place, Pavlos Deligiannis the second and Yorgos Nikolopoulos the third.

The battles of… coffee have begun today with the 5th Panhellenic Roasting Championship. Eleven contestants showed their skills with the aim of distinguishing themselves in the demanding field of coffee roasting, from the initial stages of raw coffee processing to the roasting of the beans. The winner will represent Greece at the World Coffee Roasting Championship. The final of the competition will take place tomorrow, Sunday, September 25th. Also, the final of the Panhellenic Coffee in Good Spirits Championship will take place tomorrow, during which the six contestants will be invited to present an original and technically correct proposal for coffee with alcohol. The winner will represent Greece at the World Coffee in Good Spirits Championship.
