Smiles everywhere, rich flavors, insightful talks and workshops, uplifting music, and captivating dance shows were the highlights of the second day of the Athens Coffee Festival!
With a vast variety of coffee and equipment products, amazing happenings at the exhibitors’ booths, with coffee as the star, competitions featuring great prizes, and fantastic music, the city’s coffee party managed to attract both professionals and passionate coffee lovers for the second consecutive day!
Top coffee experts, roasters, and micro-roasters turned the festival into the ultimate meeting point for the coffee community, giving everyone the chance to exchange ideas and experiences centered around—what else—coffee!
At the same time, home baristas who wanted to find their favorite varieties of coffee as well as all the necessary equipment to make fantastic coffee at home, of course came by, loyal to their annual appointment with the festival.
Families with their children, happy groups of friends, couples of all ages, some were enjoying their coffee, others their coffee cocktail, or their new…discovery, the cold brew.
Many chose a natural soft drink along with a delicious burger, or a refreshing machine ice cream or strolled through the festival holding a Greek coffee along with a traditional Thessaloniki bun.
Everyone was smiling and was happy, they all had a great time and filled Technopolis with laughter and conversations.
Inspiring talks, captivating dance performances, and music that took us to new heights
The second day of the Athens Coffee Festival kicked off with incredible energy as the one and only Spyros Pagiatakis from EnLefko 87.7 played a DJ set for us that set the tone!
Festival attendees had the opportunity to enjoy the exciting Coffee Talks of the day, as well as the thrilling continuation of the National Roasting Championship by SCA Greece.
The Embassy of Indonesia mesmerized the audience with two stunning dance performances, full of color and rhythm. The journey continued to Spain, where the groups ‘Compañía Flamenco Soleá’ and ‘Chorokinisi’ offered us an unforgettable flamenco performance. With talented dancers Emily Chasioti, Alexis Lantavos, Despoina Papargyriou, and Popi Panagopoulou on stage, the festival was filled with passion and intensity, leaving us in awe.
The day reached its peak when the internationally renowned DJ CJ Jeff took over the music stage, elevating the festival with an explosive House and Deep House set! The rhythm soared, we surrendered to the beats, and the energy at Technopolis was out of this world. What an incredible finale for the second day—a night we will remember for a long time!
