Third day of Athens Coffee Festival is a charm!
Coffee professionals and coffee lovers come together for one last day at Athens Coffee Festival.
Espresso machines, tamping, coffee grinders, music, laughter, conversations… these are the sounds heard by anyone passing through the gates of Technopolis today. In a festival atmosphere, industry professionals and lovers of good coffee try for one more day unique varieties of their favorite coffee, talk with the baristas of the exhibitors about the difference between cold brew and nitro, but also about the choices they have in capsules and pods, they admire the impressive professional machines, they discover coffees from Costa Rica, Indonesia, Guatemala, they stop to see the hostess of the festival Katerina Psimopoulou… Exhibitors and visitors for one more day, have together to drink quality coffees, discover all the trends and developments and have fun.
Awards, competitions and a dynamic finale for the Coffee Masterclasses
Coffee Masterclasses welcome visitors today with interesting discussion panels, with the executives of the Greek coffee industry and certified trainers and baristas giving answers on… hot issues about coffee.
The day starts with a very interesting speech about the power of the influencers, especially in the coffee sector, while afterwards, sample roasting and the micro-roastery will be analyzed and ideas and solutions for ergonomic coffee shops will be given. The final day of talks spotlights key industry issues, such as how water and ice affect coffee taste and the importance of branding in specialty coffee. The Coffee Masterclasses also host a live talk from Australia, regarding the requirements and training that a barista needs in order to become a world champion.

The 5th Panhellenic AeroPress Championship organized by the coffee company Kudu Coffee Roasters, is being held today, where the final winner will represent Greece at the AeroPress World Championship. After the end of the competition a celebration party with Dj Niko Salpadima, will be held in the hall D10 of Technopolis.
