Ten talented Greek roasters will have the opportunity to showcase their knowledge, skills and talent at the Panhellenic Roasting Championship, which will be organized in Greece for the first time, by SCA Greece, and held in Hall D7 of Technopolis.
Hosting the Panhellenic Roasting Championship as part of the Athens Coffee Festival will give coffee professionals and the general public the opportunity to appreciate the importance of selecting raw materials, as well as coffee processing and roasting, in terms of the quality of beverage that ends up in our cup.
Contestants will be rated for both their ability to assess the quality of the green coffee they will use and the roasting profile they will choose to use in order to highlight the unique characteristics of each variety. The winner will represent Greece in the world championship, to be held in China next December.
